META DATA : Defines the content of the community surveilled – Next, the contacts by people to organizations, personal communications, phone calls, emails, searches on a computer.
Now we comprehend it’s unconstitutional to keep all our information, past, current and future, but it’s going on now. I understand the inherent danger like this: Imagine our government is toppled, those next in the line of power will then determine their agenda, should that agenda be genocide of a race or how about the historical model?
When one government topples, the Victor will first seek to destroy the past government’s internally formed alliances. Here is the very real danger, all that data on who called who comes into play. Let’s say you attend an innocent college conference about communism, and a lecture on democracy, your attendance has been recorded. The Victor chooses those past associations and finds that you pose a threat to the newly formed government. They find you, interrogate you, lock you up, torture you, and when they break you, they force you into false confessions. Next, they murder you. This is a Historically Accurate Power Play, which is used still and will be again.
That is an inherent danger I see within the seemingly innocent gathering of an individuals life data.
