Jane Doe is a non-fiction account of a young child whose journey through trauma is recounted; her true identity is withheld to emphasize the universality of such abuses.

It’s in MA’s hope that in her words shatter the myths of children’s participation in such heinous acts against them by adults. Further, it is MA’s stand that no child is unworthy of protection from others.
Secrets kept by children such as those exposed in the Jane Doe account are often imposed by the social order of culture.
We of MA encourage others who have experienced abuse to anonymously share their accounts in the comment section. It can help the victims and the concerned to read each others words, and for those whose lives have been affected by trauma.
